Mozilla to Add Do-not-track Feature to Firefox

New feature will broadcast a do-not-track message on each website the user visits

Mozilla has decided to add a do-not-track feature to their web browser Firefox, which will prevent websites and advertisers from tracking a user's actions online. Once activated through the settings, this feature would broadcast a do-not-track message to each website that a user visits. However, it still depends upon the owners of those websites or advertising companies whether or not they choose to collect user data. Microsoft had a similar feature in the older versions of Internet Explorer, but had to remove it because it was having a negative impact on the business of online advertisers. Google is expected to implement something similar in their Chrome web browser, but it won't be built-in and would require third-party software. While Mozilla's tool would be pretty useful to users in maintaining their privacy, the fact that it depends upon online services to go against their best interests and not collect your data makes us doubt its effectiveness.

FIR Against Facebook for Anti-Gandhi Group

IPS Officer on leave studying at IIM, Lucknow files FIR against Facebook

Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Amitabh Thakur filed an FIR against social networking website Facebook for hosting a group called 'I hate Gandhi' at Gomti Nagar police station in Lucknow. Amitabh Thakur, who's on leave from IPS service and studying at Indian Institute of Management (Lucknow), alleged in his complaint that "open abuses and dirty words" have been used against Gandhi, with intent of causing riots. Thakur claims that he communicated with each member of the group individually to remove the undesired objectionable contents before filing the complaint. His request was turned down by the members of the group. The FIR therefore mentions Facebook and the names of several members of the group as accused. The FIR includes several sections of the Indian Penal Code like, causing public nuisance (section 290), intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace (section 504), section 153 (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of communities and other grounds), 153 A (imputations, assertions prejudicial to national-integration), 153 B (public nuisance), criminal intimidation (section 506) and using information technology for these purposes (section 66A of the IT Act). Google Cloud Print for Mobile, Gmail Now Live

Google has introduced Cloud Print beta service for mobile documents and Gmail mobile web app for English language users. With this opt-in service, users can get a print of any important document or email right from their smartphones or mobiles. Google Cloud Print beta for mobile Docs and Gmail will work only on HTML5 supporting phones. Google has started pushing this service en masse just after Apple made the AirPrint technology available to the iOS devices. Cloud Print service was announced last year in April and Google initiated its inclusion in any application meant for web, desktop or mobile. With this Cloud based printing, users can rely on Google's cloud servers to manage the prints from the desktop or mobile. Check more at http://www.google.com/cloudprint. Google Cloud Print for mobile documents and Gmail will let you can send a print command from anywhere and a print out of the document or email would be waiting for you when you reach the printer. Sorry, you'll have to buy auto-bots to fetch you the printouts.

Tyler Odean of Google Cloud Print Team noted, "Just open a document in Google Docs or an email in Gmail in your mobile browser and choose Print from the dropdown menu in the top right corner. You can also print certain kinds of email attachments (such as .pdf or .doc) by clicking the Print link that appears next to them." At this moment, the Google Cloud Print service for mobile platforms works only on the HTML5 supporting mobile web browsers. That's because both mobile web apps, Google Docs and Gmail, have been tweaked with HTML5 richness. Apple devices running iOS 3.0 or higher and all Android phones with Android 2.1 or higher updates will be able to make the best of Cloud Print service. Google Cloud Print service is already available through the latest beta of Google Chrome for Windows XP, Windows 7 and Vista while Mac and Linux support is expected soon. Google Cloud Print service would compete with Apple AirPrint but the latter needs compatible printers. However, Google hasn't started rolling out this service to everyone. Initially, English speaking users for UR region would be getting it and eventually, it would be rolled out to other users.

-Don't cover the microphone

People have this habit - something they picked up while using landline phones - of covering the microphone when they have to interrupt a phone conversation to speak to someone next to them.

Although this worked fine with old landline phones, as you could cover the entire microphone with your palm, it does not work on modern phones. They have a much more sensitive microphone, which can work even when blocked. Also, due to their design, the mic isn't always easy to block.

Facebook Rubbishes March 15 Shutdown Rumors

Facebook responds to news report saying, "we're just getting started"

A tabloid called Weekly World News has become quite popular over the weekend after it published a news story about Facebook shutting down on March 15. The reason for the shutdown was absurdly cited as, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook "wanted his life back" and desired "to put end to all the madness". Zuckerberg is supposed to have made this statement at a press conference outside the social network's Palo Alto office.

The Tabloid, which is known for publishing fake news stories, seems to have tried a spin on the ever-growing social network, Facebook.

"Facebook has gotten out of control," said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office," and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness," 

Facebook has squashed this silly and ridiculous rumor with a status message: We didn't get the memo about shutting down, so we'll keep working away like always. We aren't going anywhere; we're just getting started. Facebook Director of Corporate Communications Larry Yu confirmed that the rumor is false. In response to Mashable's mail about the shutdown, Yu responded, "The answer is no, so please help us put an end to this silliness." 

How To Unlock And Hack Memory Card When You Forget Your Memory Card Password

Some times it happens that you forgot the password of your memory card and you have lots of your important data in your phone.

So there are two types of methods for recovering the password of your memory card with the help of nokia phone.

For Nokia s60 1st and 2nd edition phones.
 

1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.
2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore
3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.
4. At the end of the file you will find your password.
 

For Nokia S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series
 

There is almost no way yet known to hack the memory card password in case of these types of phone but there is a way to do it some of the s60 3rd edition phones and almost all the E-series phones.
The remote lock option in E-Series phone allws you to unlock your phone by sending a sms.
The only thing you have to do is to activate this feature by going to Tools | Settings | Security | Phone and SIM | Allow remote lock menu. The password of your memory card will be your remote lock message.
So you have to just send a sms containing your remote lock message that will automatically change your memory card passsword.
