Fix USB device not recognized error

The most weird error which Windows user sometimes get is USB device not recognized error. In this condition doesn’t matter which USB device you insert in your computer, Windows will not detect it. You change the port and still error remains the same!

Yesterday while working on my PC my all the devices suddenly got disconnected and when I removed them and inserted them back I got USB device not recognized error in Windows 7, it had also appeared Windows XP earlier. I tried to change the ports but nothing happened. I went into Windows registry and tried to tweak settings there but no success. I read somewhere that in this condition one should reinstall device drivers and then try again, following the same I reinstalled device driver of my USB modem and then pluged it back but I was still getting USB device not recognized error.

I searched on Google about the solution and then I was recommended to uninstall device from Device Manager, I did the same and restarted PC but error still didn’t got away.

After getting tired of all this, I finally got the solution and it’s the easiest solution which I every came too, you must be too amazed to know about super simple solution to fix USB device not recognized error in Windows.

To fix USB device not recognized error just unplug your computer from main power board and then plug back the computer to power supply. You must be thinking that by Unplug I mean turning off the computer ? Well, unplug here doesn’t mean turning off the computer instead you have to first shutdown your computer then remove power cord from power supply and keep it in condition for few minutes and then plug it back and restart your computer and plug in your USB device and it will start working again.

Wondering How did it work ?
Since your computer(or laptop) is connected with UPS(or battery), it has small amount of power going in it even though it is off. Sometimes some circuitry error may disable some functions such as USB recognizing and you get USB device not recognized error or similar feature. Unplugging turn offs the power supply and your computer gets a ‘chance’ to load all the drivers again and there you go, the problem get’s fixed!

Most of Russian Shops Sell Pirated Microsoft Software

Microsoft found that approximately 25% of all Russian shops sell pirated copies of its software.Sellingand installing pirated Microsoft software is nothing short of an integral part of the mundane scenery inRussia, a study from the Redmond company found. Russian software outlets are easily getting away withcommercializing bootlegged products.
However, the market for dealing with unlicensed software is not as lucrative as it once was, as the retailers of counterfeit products face increasing risk of attracting the attention of authorities. “A few years ago most computer stores in some form or other offered pirate software,” revealed Denis Guz, head of the company’s department evangelizing the sale of licensed software, according to NZHerald. “Now, as we see, there are significantly fewer sales points of that kind … and now the majority of retailers offer only licensed programs.”
Microsoft’s study involved no less than 2,500 retail outlets in 53 Russian cities. The company found not only that one quarter of retailers was dealing with counterfeit copies of Microsoft Software, but that approximately 11% even went as far as to offer customers installation services.
Just as it did with all Central and East European markets, Microsoft is collaborating closely with Russian authorities in order to make sure that bootleggers of its software are brought to justice. Still, the process is slow and complex, and the Redmond company can hope to at least curb software piracy, but less to see the phenomenon stamped out.
What Is Software Piracy?
Software piracy is the mislicensingunauthorized reproduction and illegal distribution of software, whether for business or personal use.
Impact Of Software Piracy
Pirated software hurts everyone—from software developers to retail store owners, and ultimately to allsoftware users. Furthermore, the illegal duplication and distribution of software has a significant impact on the economy.

A Journey To Deliver Joy…..

                      Joy of Journey

Link : http://www.itoall.com

“If you can imagine it, you can create it, if you can dream it, you can become it”
The idea of itoAll is inspired by these words and was concieved by two Computer Science graduates who realised the need of convergence in the internet world and thought of creating a platform where a bouquet of prominent services like video sharing , photo sharing and document sharing and social networking could be offered collectively at one place. The whole idea behind this was to make sharing a lot easier, interesting and a lot more fun.
It would save the hassle of maintaining different accounts for various services and keeping track of numerous passwords. we tried to make it as user friendly as possible by creating logical categories with respect to the material to be shared thereby facilitating quick access to the desired category. The Intent of creating “itoall” is to let people come together not only for social networking but to share anything and everything endlessly to the benefit, cheer and excitement of one and all.Now  we have a complete team of 8 dedicated and highly talented people to deliver you a bug free service as soon as possible

First phase of journey

We started working on this concept way back in November 2011 and completed it with in a year but were not satisfied with the final design of itoall, so we deferred the launch of the website by few more months. We were convinced by this time that we need to bring in more technical manpower in order to build a more sophisticated and technically sound website. Then we decided to enlarge our team by bringing in few more designers and developers.

Second phase of journey

Second phase began in October 2012 when we built a bigger team to diversify our thought and hence refurbished the complete website to give our users the best experience with the user interface and the services.

Now after almost 5 months of serious brainstorming, we are again ready to launch the website within a month with a much better User interface and some very sophisticated services. We strongly believe that, with the kind of services itoall is providing, users would find the website extremely valuable and fun to use.

itoAll-Comming Soon

Change the Default Location for Installing Programs

Windows uses the C:/Program Files directory as the default base directory into which new programs are installed.

However, you can change the default installation drive and/or directory by using a Registry hack. Run the(open run type regedit hit enter) Registry Editor and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion
Look for the value named ProgramFilesDir. By default, the value will be C:/Program Files. Edit the value to any valid drive or folder

Windows will use that new location as the default installation directory for new programs.

How to Turn Your Num Lock On Forever?

You can set your Num Lock to stay on by default when you logon your system.

There are two different techniques to set Num Lock stay on by default.

If you can use Registry Editor correctly then Click on start button and type Regedt32.exe in Run command. Here Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard and change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.

You can do same by configuring the script to change the NUM LOCK state. Click Start button and then open Notepad. Copy the giving code and paste in Notepad.

set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")

WshShell.SendKeys "{NUMLOCK}"

Now save this file with name "num.vbs" must including the quotes. At the end copy this file to user startup folder. The path for this folder is Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup.

Now restart the computer. Num Lock should come on and stay on.
